Our metalworking, rust preventatives and grease products have played an integral role in keeping our customers lean, safe and ahead of the curve in the automotive manufacturing process. We have a number of products that have gone through the PPAP process. NuSol® HP CHY is revolutionary metalworking fluid that is specifically designed for the diverse needs of the automotive industry.

We work with our customers, fine tuning our fluid and grease products to meet their specific needs. For instance, one of our automotive customers was looking for a high speed quench oil in it's finishing process. The goal was to quickly quench the outside of a piece, creating an extremely hard surface. However, our customer also wanted the internal makeup of the piece to have a less rigid structure, allowing for some tension to be tolerated. Because of the properties the quenching oil provided, the inside of the quenched piece was provided a slower cooling time frame. The different cooling time-frame allowed the chemical structure of the inside of the piece to take on a more malleable chemical property desired by our customer.

Gear Oils Automotive	Synthetic	SAE Syn 75W90	The automotive synthetic gear oils are blended with synthesized hydrocarbons. They are specially formulated to provide longer gear life and improved operating economies compared with conventional mineral oil based gear lubricants. The two EP grades, SAE Syn 75W90 and 75W140, are heavy-duty API GL-5 lubricants that may be used wherever EP-type gear oils are recommended. The two grades meet the requirements of the Eaton Road ranger extended drain specification. The SAE Syn 50 is intended for use in manual transmissions that require non-EP gear oil. Its excellent low-temperature properties provide for easier cold weather shifting, less drag and less gear wear.
Grease	Over Based Calcium Sulfonate	ALPHA 2000	A unique, high quality lubricating grease, which has an over based calcium sulfonate thickener system. This thickener system combined with its mid-viscosity petroleum base fluids allow this grease to be marketed as a premium, all-purpose lubricant. ALPHA 2000 is truly a premium product for the following reasons: 1. Shear Stability: ALPHA 2000 is extremely shear stable as illustrated by its 100,000 worked penetration results. Notice that the change in penetration after 100,000 strokes is low, meaning that the grease did not soften under shear. What does this mean to you? It means you are providing your customer with a product that will not soften and run out the application during use. This also means consumption of less grease, less labor for lubricating, no mess, better sealing out of contaminants, and overall better, longer lasting lubrication. 2. Corrosion Protection: ALPHA 2000 is manufactured with a sulfonate chemistry, which is commonly used specifically as rust and corrosion inhibitors. For this reason, there is no other grease chemistry that can provide the protection against rust. Environments/applications such as marine-salt and fresh waters, transportation-road salt/grime, water treatment facilities, steel mills, paper manufacturing, and anywhere corrosive chemicals and water is contaminating the equipment. 3. Extreme Pressure/Anti-Wear Protection: This product also provides excellent EP and anti-wear properties without the traditional additive chemistry. ALPHA 2000 provides protection without the use of lead, antimony, chlorine, zinc, barium or other heavy metals, which makes this product environmentally safe. 4. High Dropping Point: In addition to ALPHA 2000 having a high dropping point, it maintains its consistency through higher temperatures better than most high temp greases. In addition, in high temperature applications where it may soften, after cooling, it will return to its original consistency-good reversibility. 5. ALPHA 2000 can also be used in a variety of industrial applications and is a great choice when reducing the amount of greases used in manufacturing facilities.
Grease	Over Based Calcium Sulfonate	ALPHA 2000-HD	For environments where there is constant high temperature, use ALPHA 2000-HD which has all the benefits of the ALPHA 2000, but uses polymer chemistry to provide higher viscosity and VI for better protection at the higher temperatures. Not recommended in cold climates.
Quenching Fluids	Quenching Oil	Alphaquench 5300	Alphaquench 5300 is designed for quenching operations which require a high-speed quenching oil, in order to develop maximum hardiness and minimal distortion. Alphaquench 5300 has a low viscosity to minimize drag out rates. It can be used to obtain the desired microstructure by providing rapid cooling during the vapor stage and slow cooling during the martinsite formation.
Governor Oils	Synthetic	5W40 Synthetic Governor Oil	A special blend of synthesized hydrocarbons and selected esters, with a carefully balanced, custom designed additive system. Developed for use in all types of automotive fleet equipment, including on-highway and off-highway vehicles having either heavy-duty diesel or gasoline engines. Has long-term retention of oxidation stability, alkalinity, high temperature detergency and high to low temperature dispersion, and sludge and corrosion protection which permits extended oil drain intervals.
Greases Automotive	Wheel Bearing	Duralube EP-2	Duralube EP 2 is lithium complex grease formulated with quality base oils and fortified with rust and oxidation inhibitors as well as extreme pressure additives. Duralube EP 2 has proven to be extremely effective as water resistant grease and has been marketed extensively in areas where water washout is a major concern.
Automotive Assembly Materials (RE)	Engine	Needle Bearing Assembly Compound	Needle Bearing Assembly Compound is a lithium based lubricating grease formulated with the highest quality naphthenic base oils available, and is fortified with rust and oxidation inhibitors. It has been designed to meet the multi-purpose needs of the end user.
Metalworking	NUSOL® Series	NUSOL® 21 High Performance	NUSOL® 21 High Performance offers all the benefits of the Supreme with the added lubricity for aluminum alloys by using synthetic oils rather than the high viscosity petroleum oils. In fact HP base synthetic oil is nearly 5 times the viscosity for better film strength on tough applications.
