>> SR2-1114               SHIPPING & RECEIVING ASSOCIATE

Working second shift, this individual will be responsible for loading and unloading trailers, while exercising safe driving techniques at all times.    Candidates must have shipping, warehousing, and inventory experience.  Also, knowledge of hazardous materials, DOT weight limits, and LTL.  Previous lift truck operator experience required.

  

>> PR1-1114               PACKAGING MATERIAL RECEIVER

Working the first shift schedule, the packaging material receiver will unload, count, verify, store, and distribute packaging materials to the various production departments throughout the manufacturing facility.  Candidates need to possess an attention to detail and perform accurate work.

 

 >> PO-1114                PACKAGING OPERATOR

First shift packaging operators assist with a variety of duties on the automatic tube lines where grease is inserted into cardboard tubes, labeled, palletized, and prepared for shipment to our customers.  This position requires good manual dexterity and attention to detail.

 

>> GP-1114                 GREASE PRODUCTION OPERATORS

The grease production operator performs a variety of manufacturing production duties for the purpose of transforming liquid and solid form raw material ingredients, mixing or blending them, and converting them to a finished product that meets customer specifications.  Prefer knowledge of batch process manufacturing operations, processes and procedures.  Familiar with the operation of the various grease manufacturing machinery and equipment.  Ability to read, interpret and understand all related department documentation (i.e. batch sheets, labels, packaging logs, etc.).  Both first and second shift have an opening in this job category.

 

>> CLG-1114               CHEMIST, LUBRICATION GREASE

This individual develops and evaluates lubricating greases to meet technical specifications or application requirements.  Additional duties include oral and written communication with customers and end-users concerning product recommendations, product offsets, and other inquiries.  The incumbent also functions as a Product Manager.

 Responsibilities Include:

  • Liaison with the grease plant for batch sheets and process changes to formulas.
  • Attend the grease production meetings.
  • Evaluate new raw materials with regard to performance and net treat costs.
  • Develop and evaluate greases to meet technical specifications or the requirements of an application or machine.
  • Input raw materials, formulas, processes and quality control instructions into computer system.
  • Write specification sheets and news releases for grease products.
  • Develop programs and conduct technical training sessions or seminars for customers; provide training in test methods or pilot plant.
  • Provide technical services to customers including product recommendations, product offsets, and complaint resolution.  Respond to customer with written report when appropriate, including resolution reports.
  • Install and maintain test and/or pilot equipment; manufacture pilot scale batches.
  • Maintain accurate batch production records.
  • Perform the duties of a Product Manager to support quality control department.
  • Travel, as necessary, to meet the responsibilities of the position.  Travel is expected to average three days per month.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Technical Director-Lubricating Greases or General Manager.

 Main Requirements:

Associates Degree with 8 years relevant experience; prefer a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field with 4 years relevant experience.  In addition, must become certified to perform standard testing methods.
