Lubricut Lubrimag 1224

Lubricut Lubrimag 1224 continues our line of enhanced Lubricut products from Chemtool Incorporated.   It is a high performance synthetic based metalworking fluid designed specifically for demanding precision applications for magnesium machining and grinding applications.  

Never before has a water-dilutable chemistry been offered that demonstrates such a high degree of tolerance to the formation of magnesium soaps.  These soaps typically destroy the stability and integrity of the metalworking fluid. 

 Formulated with the latest chemical innovations for lubricity, wetting, and corrosion inhibition available, Lubricut Lubrimag 1224 sets the standard for superior performance.  The unique surfactant package enhances fluid performance without the magnesium soap formation typical of traditional emulsifiable metalworking fluids. 

 Lubricut Lubrimag 1224 is recommended for general purpose machining and grinding of magnesium.  General operations on magnesium alloys can be performed with use at concentrations between 5 and 12%.  Specialty tapping operations can be performed at concentrations between 10 and 15%.  It can also be used on ferrous alloys, but is not for use on aluminum alloys.

 Lubricut Lubrimag 1224 will not leave an oily residue on magnesium swarf and offers improved housekeeping and worker safety versus dry machining operations.  Our unique water-based chemistry offers improved lubrication (better tool life and performance efficiency) and reduces smoke and potential fire issues.
