RUST RID

RUST RID is the anchor of our line of environmentally safe rust and corrosion removal  products from Chemtool Incorporated. RUST RID is a uniquely formulated water based rust stripper with a near neutral pH. RUST RID exhibits a use pH of 6.50-7.50. RUST RID  is ideally suited for removing rust on cast iron alloys, tool steels and all carbon steels. It is slightly less effective on stainless steel alloys. The product is most effective against surface and blush rust. It contains no caustic, toxic or hazardous components. RUST RID can be utilized for processing a few parts or for full scale rust removal operations.

RUST RID exhibits excellent wetting and defoaming properties allowing for uniform coverage in high pressure spray applications. It is also an outstanding product choice for use in all types of immersion systems with parts of complex geometries. Note: For best results it is recommended that RUST RID be used in immersion baths for optimum exposure and coverage.  In addition, if RUST RID is to be used for extended periods of time it should be used in a plastic tank to avoid chelation of steel tanks.
