Product Description

Chemcut 9223 is a straight cutting oil with a unique blend of active extreme pressure additives and passive polar lubrication including sulfur, chlorine, phosphorous, and fatty oils. These additives react with metallic surfaces and give excellent lubrication and anti-weld properties at the chip/tool interface.

Chemcut 9223 is recommended for use in a wide range of machining applications from mild to moderately difficult including superabrasive machining and creep feed grinding. Chemcut 9223 can be used on both ferrous and nonferrous metals including steel, stainless steel, nickel-base alloys, nickel-base superalloys, cobalt base alloys, aluminum, magnesium, titanium, and titanium alloys. Can be used on yellow metal without staining. Aerospace approved PMC 9223.
